How we handle your personal data when you sign up for the BrihtaAI newsletter.
The controller of your personal data is Sebastijan Šebenik, Vrhnika, Slovenia. For any questions about data protection, write to us at [email protected].
We do not collect special categories of personal data, and we do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
We use Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, Paris, France) to send the newsletter. Brevo processes the data on our behalf as a processor under a data processing agreement and stores it on servers in the European Union. You can read more in Brevo's privacy policy at brevo.com.
We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for their marketing.
We keep your email address for as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter. After you unsubscribe, we delete it or keep it only on a suppression list so that we don't accidentally send you the newsletter again. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted within 30 days at the latest.
You can unsubscribe at any time, free of charge and without giving a reason: click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email or write to [email protected]. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal.
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. Send your request to [email protected]; we will reply within one month at the latest.
If you believe we are processing your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia (www.ip-rs.si) or with the data protection authority in the EU country where you live.
The site currently does not use advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
We may update this policy. The date of the last change is shown below. If the English and Slovenian versions differ, the Slovenian version applies.
