AI for hair salons: less typing, more time for your clients

Between two clients there's no time to write posts, answer messages or deal with reviews. Copy the prompts below into ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot, replace the text in [square brackets] with your own details and you'll have a draft in seconds that you only need to check.

2 simple automations

Quick replies in WhatsApp Business

Tools: WhatsApp Business (free) + ChatGPT · about 30 minutes

  1. Install the free WhatsApp Business app on your phone and connect it to the salon's number.
  2. In ChatGPT, type: “Write 5 short replies for a hair salon to common questions: price list, free slots, location and parking, cancelling an appointment, gift vouchers.” Adapt the replies to your details.
  3. In the app, open Business tools → Quick replies and save each reply under a shortcut, e.g. /prices, /booking, /location.
  4. Under Away message, set an automatic reply for outside opening hours (e.g. “Thanks for your message, we'll reply tomorrow by 10 am.”).

Frequently asked questions

Can AI book appointments for me?

Not fully and not without supervision. AI helps you write messages and replies, but you or your booking system still confirm the appointments. That way there are no mistakes or double bookings.

Am I allowed to send clients an appointment reminder?

Yes, a reminder for an appointment the client booked is part of the service. For marketing messages (promotions, discounts) you need their consent.

Which AI works best in my language?

The free versions of ChatGPT, Gemini and Copilot write well in most EU languages. Always read the text before sending it and fix any awkward wording.
