2 simple automations

Write the daily menu once, publish it everywhere

Tools: ChatGPT + Canva + Meta Business Suite (all free) · about 15 minutes a day

  1. In the morning, enter today's dishes into the “Daily menu description” prompt above in ChatGPT.
  2. In Canva, create a daily menu template once (portrait post, 1080 × 1350). Every day you just change the text and save the image.
  3. In Meta Business Suite, create a post, add the image and text and choose to publish on Facebook and Instagram at the same time.
  4. Post the same text and image to your Google Business Profile as well (Add update), so guests see it on Google Maps.
  5. If you know the menu in advance, you can schedule the whole week's posts in Meta Business Suite on Sunday.

Private event enquiries via a form

Tools: Google Forms + Gmail (free) · about 40 minutes

  1. In Google Forms, create a form: name, phone, email, date, number of guests, type of event, special requests (allergies, vegetarians).
  2. Turn on email notifications for new responses (Responses → three dots).
  3. Add the form link to your website, Facebook and Google profile.
  4. When an enquiry comes in, copy the details into the “Offer for a private event” prompt above and you'll have an offer in minutes.
  5. In Gmail, save frequent replies as templates (Settings → Advanced → Templates) so you don't have to write them from scratch every time.

Frequently asked questions

Can AI prepare official allergen labelling?

AI can help with a first pass, but you are responsible for the labelling being correct. Always check the product labels and the rules that apply to you.

Are AI menu translations good enough?

For most menus the translations are usable, but have someone who speaks the language well read them before printing, especially the dish names.

How much time will I save on posts?

That depends on how much you post today. The best way to find out is to time your posts for one week without AI and the next week with it.
